Our Process

The Lighting Lizards Process: Initial Consultation to the Final Reveal

Every project follows the same nine steps. One point of contact. Brian handles all of it personally.

01

Initial Consultation

A focused conversation about your property, the areas you want to light, and your goals. Brian outlines the approach, reviews the scope, and discusses investment expectations so everyone is aligned from the start.

  • Understand your goals and the spaces that matter most
  • Talk through the approach and what is possible
  • Confirm the project is a good fit before moving forward
02

Property Review and Scheduling

Brian reviews the property ahead of the visit to understand the layout and surroundings, then schedules the onsite walkthrough at a time that works for you.

03

Onsite Walkthrough

Brian walks the property with you, listens to what you want, and studies the space, the layout, and anything that will shape the design.

  • Walk the full property together
  • Review the layout and existing conditions
  • Talk through ideas, options, and priorities
04

Conceptual Lighting Plan

The property is photographed and marked up, then presented alongside a lookbook so you can see the approach and the intended effect before any work begins.

05

Design Review and Proposal

The plan is walked through and the investment is presented on the same visit, so there is no waiting on a separate proposal.

  • Review the full lighting plan and scope
  • See the investment the same day
  • Ask questions and make any adjustments
06

Project Approval and Scheduling

Once approved, the install date is confirmed before Brian leaves and the project is scheduled. You know exactly what comes next.

07

Professional Installation

Irrigation, water lines, and existing cable are located first. The work is clean from start to finish, with care taken around your existing landscape.

  • Existing lines and cable located before any digging
  • Coastal grade fixtures built for the Florida climate
  • Clean workmanship and a tidy site throughout
08

Nighttime Fine-Tuning

Brian returns after dark to adjust aim, brightness, and beam width, and to eliminate any glare. This is the step where the design truly comes together.

09

Final Reveal and Follow-Up

The finished project is walked with you at night. Brian confirms you are happy with every detail and stays available long after the work is done.

  • Walk the finished design together at night
  • Ongoing support and adjustments whenever you need them
